Eyelash extensions.

Semi-permanent extensions applied one at a time to one of your own lashes, never to the skin. Five set weights, plus lifts and tints. Every price is on this page.

Choosing a set

The difference
is how many.

From soft and natural to full and dramatic, each set is designed to create a different look. Choose a set to discover your perfect style.

Lash extensions & lash lift

Professional lash extensions, with each individual extension carefully applied to a natural lash to create a soft, natural look or a more defined, dramatic effect. We also offer Lash Lift, with a variety of techniques and styles tailored to your natural lashes, eye shape and desired look.

Not sure which suits you? Ask before you book — it costs nothing.

Before you book

What actually happens.

It takes about ninety minutes

You lie down on a treatment bed with your eyes closed, and each extension is placed on a single natural lash. It is closer to a pampering session than a procedure. Most clients fall asleep.

Eye health comes first

Nothing is ever attached to the skin, and we follow stringent health procedures. If anything about your eyes doesn't look right on the day, we will say so rather than proceed.

They last four to six weeks

Your own lashes shed on a 45 to 60 day cycle, and each extension leaves with the lash it was attached to. How long a set holds depends on that cycle and on your lifestyle.

Infills every two to three weeks keep a set looking new indefinitely.

No mascara needed

That is rather the point. No streaks, no clumps, no smudges, and your eyes look the same when you wake up as they did the night before.

Looking after them

Aftercare, briefly.

The first twenty-four hours

After that your lashes are water-resistant and tear-resistant. Before then, keep them dry.

Avoid oil, and avoid rubbing

Oil-based products anywhere near your eyes will break the bond. So will rubbing your eyes, which matters most in warm weather.

Skip lash curlers entirely while you have extensions.

A brush in the morning

That is genuinely all most people need.

The salon stocks what that takes: a brow and lash brush at $8, a foam cleanser formulated for scratchy eyes at $35, and reusable Take It Off cloths that lift make-up with warm water alone. Your first disposable mascara wand comes free with your first treatment.

If you stop

Left alone, extensions fall out gradually over about eight weeks as your own lashes cycle. Nothing needs doing.

Questions

The rest of it.

What exactly is an eyelash extension?

A synthetic lash, individually applied to one of your natural eyelashes to make it longer and thicker. We use synthetic mink. There are many styles — the same technique gives you either something very natural or a dramatic statement, depending on the set you choose and the lengths we use.

How are they applied?

You lie down on a comfortable treatment bed with your eyes closed, and each extension is placed individually. It takes around an hour and a half and is a relaxing, comfortable procedure — more like a break than an appointment.

Can I still wear mascara?

You can, but there is no need — and most people find they never go back. The point of extensions is waking up with your eyes already done.

How often should I have them redone?

Some clients book a whole new set every four weeks. Others prefer infills every two to three weeks, which keeps a set looking full continuously and costs less than starting again. Which suits you depends on your own lash cycle — your technician will tell you what she's seeing.

Why do some fall out sooner than others?

Because each extension is bonded to a single natural lash, and you shed those on a 45 to 60 day replenishing cycle. When a natural lash goes, its extension goes with it — a new lash is already growing in behind it.

Lifestyle changes the pace. Rubbing your eyes has the biggest effect, particularly in the warmer months.

What happens if I want them off?

Have them removed professionally — $45 to $95 depending on the set. Do not attempt to pull them out yourself: you will take your own lashes with them, and those need time to regrow.

If you would rather simply let them go, they fall out gradually over about eight weeks.

What else can you do while I'm here?

Flares — 30+ extensions across the outer half of the eye — coloured lashes, lash and brow tinting, brow shaping, henna brows, and lash lifts if you would rather lift your own lashes than add to them. All of them are on the price list above.
